About us

ABiTEP GmbH is a Berlin based private biotech company founded in 2005. Our main activities are development, production and distribution of natural microbial products for use in agriculture and gardening. Based on naturally occurring soil bacteria we produce agents for plant protection and biocontrol ((Bacillus subtilis FZB24^®, RhizoPlus^®) as well as biofertilizer (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens RhizoVital 42^®). Furthermore, ABiTEP GmbH is offering a sound service of fermentation and downstream processing.

ABiTEP GmbH takes an active part in numerous national and international research projects. We have a strong interest in developing ecologically friendly and modern methods of plant protection. Furthermore, the ABiTEP GmbH is a committed member of the German-Austrian section of the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA).

ABiTEP GmbH runs bioreactors from 1,0 to 5.000 l volume. Equipment for separation, freeze drying, extraction and formulation is also available. A permanent quality control and assurance is guaranteed by our professional staff.
